Foods to avoid:

  • Any foods high in saturated fats
  • Those containing high levels of sugar and salt
  • Stay clear of fried foods, including fast food restaurant meals
  • Raw or undercooked shellfish should be avoided as well
  • If you are allowed alcohol, limit to one drink per day
